"Cori and all that she does is beyond amazing. She truly captures the personality of all of her subjects. Her work can only be described by one word; Masterpiece." - B.B.
"It was an absolute pleasure working with Cori Jaye on a special commissioned piece I was dreaming of- she made the experience so seamless and I felt so safe sharing such a personal journey with her on why the piece was important to me.
The piece she painted was from a photo a friend took of my daughter and I going for a walk. She turned the photo into a painting of us walking into our future together. It took about 5 years to rebuild our lives after going through a divorce and I am finally able to give my 7 year old her own room in our new house this spring. The bright and bold colours represent how even through struggle there is so much to celebrate in life and love!
You can just FEEL the love that Cori put into this for us – it’s amazing what happens when women support other women! I can’t thank her enough!"

"Cori is an amazing artist!! I got two pictures of my dogs that she took the time to hand paint to give as a present!! They are so believably realistic, I just love them so much!! I really, strongly suggest to check out her artwork and maybe reach out to get your own personal photo done :)."

"We asked Cori to commission a landscape piece based on photos of a recent trip, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. She managed to bring to life an already vibrant landscape and gave us exactly what we were looking for, while keeping it within her style, which is what we wanted. She was so thoughtful and considerate of our opinions when discussing the piece; it felt like she cared about it as much as we did. She’s a professional individual, an extremely talented artist, and truly a beautiful person. Thank you again Cori, we love it!"

"We were lucky enough to have Cori create a stunning 8 x 14 ft. mural for our young son’s bedroom recently. Collaborating with Cori was a seamless and stress-free process. Her professional integrity coupled with her kind hearted and thoughtful spirit made it a truly remarkable experience. Cori knew we envisioned a timeless piece that included a fantasia of colours and a variety of animals that would grow up with our son. We hoped that this mural would encapture and provoke a sense of imagination and appreciation for Art in general that will inspire our son each day. Cori came prepared with a working sample and was open minded and respectful in incorporating our suggestions and preferences to personalize the piece even more. Our schedules coincided and we were able to find a mutually convenient time for Cori to complete the 45 hour project while we were out of town. She was in contact with us as needed & kept us informed of her progress which was greatly appreciated. We had absolute trust in Cori being in our home alone. She was extremely respectful and we returned to a clean home, exactly as we had left it. Cori kindly followed up personally to ensure our satisfaction with her work. We were extremely happy and felt that her talents and ideas exceeded our expectations. I often find myself staring at the mural for a few minutes each day because I truly love it that much. Cori is a kind soul with engaging and provocative artistic abilities and we were very impressed with her professionalism, communication & thoughtfulness throughout this process. We would happily work with her again in the future."

"I spent some time looking at Cori Jaye’s website and her art. Was very impressed with her work and perspective. I commissioned a piece from Cori Jaye, and cannot tell you how wonderful and amazing it was. Her art is very powerful and the piece I commissioned had special meaning to me. It turned out beautifully - It was a gift for my wife – who loved it! Dealing with Cori Jaye was a pleasure throughout the entire process – a real talented professional."

"I've commissioned two pieces from Cori Jaye, one for myself and one as a gift for a friend, and both turned out amazing!!! Her art is so powerful and moving. She made the whole process really easy from start to finish."

"Have you ever felt at peace so much that you wished you could do something everyday of your life? That's how I felt when, coupled with the incredible art skills and tips of Cori Jaye and the peaceful, accepting environment that she along with my teachers and classmates brought to this classroom. Painting with Cori was an experience I'll never forget. The inspiration, influence of mind about art, and the overall process of creating my artwork made this experience the roller coaster ride of a lifetime."

"To sum it all up, working with Cori Jaye has been a great experience, from all of the help, to how kind she was during the process of the painting. If I had the opportunity to paint another painting with her help and painting expertise, I would take the opportunity any day. I also enjoyed this experience because my painting actually looked good in the end!"

"'Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it.' Andy Warhol's wise words explain just a fragment of what Cori taught me. She showed me that no matter how much I disliked my work, there was always beauty somewhere in it." ... "While I was painting, I kept backtracking and second guessing myself. Cori always told my class and I that we'd hit an "ugly stage" in our artwork but we need to push past it because once we do, we would realize that our piece is coming together quite nicely. I eventually trusted what she told me and continued working. At the end, I think my work came out really well and I'm genuinely grateful to have the chance to work with Cori."

"During this whole experience, I learned a lot of useful tips from Cori that I can use in further art projects. The way she speaks about art is very inspiring, and it makes me very excited about art and creating a painting. One of the things I learned was the rule of thirds which is very useful when I need to transfer a sketch or a rough copy onto a different paper or canvas."

"The time spent working with Cori was a great learning experience. She gave me plenty of advice about art which really opened up more of what I know about art today. I also learned lots and enjoyed working with her. In the end, my painting turned out great and I had a fun time working on this piece. I hope we can work with Cori Jaye again in the future after this phenomenal experience."

"As I continued painting it got easier and easier because of Cori. She taught me so many techniques when drawing, colouring and painting. I learned some of these techniques when working with my piece like layering my colours. An example: for my waterfall I wanted to have an array of blues and whites so Cori taught me how to layer my colours to make each one stand out. Another is cross hatching. When I was colouring my rough copy I was colouring it all in with no white which took a super long time so she told me to cross hatch. Cori is an amazing artist and an amazing person. She is talented, creative, friendly, trustworthy and so much more that it would take too long to say them all."

"Painting with no passion is like playing a game you despise. Doing art with Cori and discovering her passion for painting was inspiring and encouraging. Her attitude, tips and tricks helped me get started and as my painting started to get better, I actually started enjoying the experience. Before encountering Cori's way of art, painting to me was a punishment, a punishment that was worse than many truly punishing things. Cori helped me find inspiration to think of a painting, change my perception about art in a positive way, and as I reflect on my experience, realize that painting isn't so bad after all."

"The tips that Cori gave me really helped and if I was to do it on my own then it would not have been anywhere close to how it looks like now. Cori is a very talented and skilled painter. She is really amazing and very nice and helpful too. All in all, my art turned out really well with the help of Cori and I would love to do it again."

"Cori Jaye gave me really good advice on how to fix some elements of my painting. For example, I was trying to draw a person shooting a basketball but I wasn't doing it very well. Then, Cori came up to me and helped me with some things that I needed work on. Probably without Cori Jaye my painting would not look as colourful and nice. Cori taught us a lot of techniques to do in our paintings, like shading with paint and how to make a shape of an athlete. Her techniques helped me a lot because when I started this project, I thought my painting was going to turn out pretty bad, but I think it turned out pretty well."

"Cori Jaye, I just wanted to tell you, you have so much talent and I really love this project that you kindly shared with us. If I'm being honest, when Mme. Zayac said that this is a class project I didn't know how to feel, I never did a project like this but I'm really glad we did. You showed us brand new techniques I would have never known unless we did this project. When you showed us the techniques I thought "omg these are so cool those will really help me" and they really did."
