Recently, I purchased Cori Jaye’s well presented video on painting portraits. It is full of tips and techniques that will be helpful to people both new to the challenge of this subject as well as those with more experience. The description of her process was interesting to watch and a clear illustration of how she achieves a realistic likeness. - Pamela J.
I have taken Cori Jaye's classes before, and I keep coming back for her well-structured Art classes. In her online art courses, Cori shares different techniques which are helpful whether you are a beginner or a professional artist. The way she explains her techniques in the videos is very clear and soothing to listen to. I have learnt a lot through her and will continue to use her practical art techniques. - Dulya U.
I have been painting for a few years and was feeling uninspired. The online tutorials with Cori Jaye introduced a variety of painting approaches and made experimentation fun. I enjoyed the art history and learned a number of very useful techniques which I will continue to use. As well, it was helpful to have the extended time to think about a painting and resolve problems. This was a great course. - Debbie W.
I can’t imagine a better experience for a novice artist than being taught by Cori Jaye. First, she reduces the intimidation factor with her easy approachability and clear, insightful instruction. Then, she motivates students by anticipating their challenges and demonstrating how to overcome with great insights like, “there’s always an ugly stage, just hang in there!” I've completed two of her full courses, and few tutorials. Her online courses are exceptionally well organized and thoughtfully presented, with tips and techniques I’ve applied over and over again. And I love the online format because you can pause, rewind and re-watch as much as you need to. I’m grateful my introduction to acrylic painting was from such an empathic, natural teacher who sparked in me a passion for painting that has truly enriched my life. – Audra L.
