24 FT x 4 FT mural at Winnipeg Folk Festival thanking the volunteers who helped put the festival together!

FOLK FEST!

I was commissioned by Winnipeg Folk Festival to create a mural that celebrates all the different volunteer groups. I came up with this design, in which each icon symbolizes a different group. I kept the background lighter with the sunset sky theme, so all the festival goers could join in and sign it at the festival, sending love to the volunteers! I was visited by butterflies numerous times while painting this piece. Sometimes a butterfly would come and sit on my paint tray. At one point one fell into the paint, but I pulled him out, dried off his wings, and saved him. :)

Heidi and Greta's Mural Design

Hello Friends! This is a mural I worked on for two little girls! The mural depicts a castle with beautiful scenery, butterflies and swans! The only request from one of the girls was that one of the butterflies was a princess butterfly - so I added a little crown :).

"Watching Cori create the mural for the girls' room was so fun! The kids were always so excited to come home from school and see Cori and how the painting had progressed. We offered a few ideas at the initial stages. Cori took those ideas and added her own touches to create a great piece. Jonny's Mural Design

Hello friends! This is a mural I produced for a little boy's room. It took 45 hours to create and this video captures my process. The mural encompases a dream like scene with animals, nature and space. Follow along and see it come to life! - Xo CJ :)

"We were lucky enough to have Cori create a stunning 8 x 14 ft. mural for our young son’s bedroom recently. Collaborating with Cori was a seamless and stress-free process. Her professional integrity coupled with her kind hearted and thoughtful spirit made it a truly remarkable experience. Cori knew we envisioned a timeless piece that included a fantasia of colours and a variety of animals that would grow up with our son.
