Online Acrylic Painting Classes

Learn the art of acrylic painting, one painting at a time! This class is best for students that prefer to work at their own pace, as the lessons are in the form of pre-recorded video tutorials, allowing you to pause, rewind, and work at whatever time of day is best for you.

Every 2 weeks participants will be sent a video tutorial for a painting. Students will work on the painting at home, and meet biweekly with the class and instructor for a 1 hour live Q&A on Zoom.
The Q&As will occur at 6pm on January 26, February 9, February 23, March 9, and March 23.

Between Q&As, students are invited to share their work, and any questions they might have in a private Facebook group. 

Painting themes/topics covered include:

• Fading objects into the background

• Going from colour to grey scale

• Using printmaking techniques to create texture

• Painting with a palette knife

• Creating reflections
